These rotary valves are used for the reciprocating pistons engines (V engine).



Advantages


1. Makes the V engine give a very high torque and high rpm: the air and fuel mixture entry hole can reach 90% of the piston head area, as well as the exhaust outlet hole.

2. Good sealing on gases inside the cylinders: The rotary valves have a good sealing on gases inside the cylinders better than the reciprocating valves, and prevent the leakage of pressure from the cylinders, which prevents the loss of energy.

3 - Save energy of the engine: where each of the two opposite cylinders participates in one rotating ring.

4 - Do not occupy big space comparing to the reciprocating valves.
